Clarendelle Rouge
Clarendelle Pessac Leognan
Clarendelle Blanc
Clarendelle Amberwine
The wine shows beautiful balance. It has a deep, almost inky crimson colour. Although present, the alcohol is perfectly balanced with tannins and freshness. There are delicious cherry, blackberry, and blackcurrant flavours as well as subtle chocolate overtones on the palate, which is altogether opulent and soft. The tannin is distinctive, but silky, accounting for volume and length. The paramount characteristics are concentration and intensity, but underpinned by softness and finesse.
Clarendelle Pessac-Léognan is a fine, classic wine, with a dense, rich character and good structure. The colour is intense. The complex red and black fruit bouquet is rich and fresh. The palate features hints of spice and minerals. The overall impression is full-bodied and luscious, with velvety tannins. The aftertaste is long, aromatic, and romising.
Beautiful pale yellow colour. Very rich and round on the palate with mineral overtones. After fairly quick fermentation, the Sauvignon Blanc expressed intense tropical fruit and citrus (grapefruit) aromas, whereas the Sémillon and Muscadelle were more floral, with rose nuances. Ageing on the lees toned down the acidity and gave a certain richness and length to the wine, while maintaining freshness. The balance is perfect, with a great deal of finesse and elegance. A wonderful vintage for dry white Bordeaux!
Clear pale yellow colour. The combination of two types of grapes accounts for the bouquet’s wonderful complexity. The wine is full and generous on the palate. It also has a tangy, mentholated side, as well as white peach and apricot flavours. 2012 is a good vintage in Monbazillac thanks to the discreet acidity and outstanding sweetness.
